ABOUT Chapathi/rotali RECIPE

A very soft and puffed up Indian flat bread, Chapathi. Serve with Indian curry, main dishes or even use it to make sandwich wraps . Indian food is incomplete without chapathi.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4cup wheat flour
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1tbsp oil
  4. 2 cup water
  5. Oil for grease
  6. Ghee

Instructions

  1. 4 CUP WHEAT FLOUR, SALT TO TASTE, 1TBSP OIL, ADD 2 CUP WATER
  2. KNEAD THE DOUGH
  3. GREASE WITH WATER AND MAKE IT SMOOTH , THEN REST 5 MINUTES
  4. GREASE WITH OIL AND KNEAD THE DOUGH TILL IT BECAME SMOOTH
  5. ROLE AND CUT IN EQUAL SIZE
  6. MAKE BALL AND PRESS IT
  7. ROLE THE CHAPATHI
  8. ON PREHEATED TWA, GRILL BOTH SIDES OF CHAPATHI
  9. WHEN YOU SEE LITTLE BUBBLE ON TURN IT
  10. AGAIN FLIP AND GRILL IT PROPER
  11. APPLY GHEE ON CHAPATHI
