ABOUT Dry fruits Cake Pastry RECIPE

This is a quick recipe of a delicious colorful sponge which is a perfect tea accompaniment or can be served as a desert.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Maida 1 cup
  2. sugar powder 1 cup
  3. 2 eggs
  4. baking powder half TBS
  5. milk one fourth cup
  6. butter 80 grams
  7. vanilla essence 1 tsp
  8. mixed nuts half cup
  9. Tutti fruity 1/4 cup
  10. Whipped cream 1 cup
  11. White Chocolate 200 gram
  12. Dairy cream 150 gm
  13. Oil based purple colour 2 drops
  14. Red cherries 8 pieces for decoration

Instructions

  1. Sieve maida and baking powder and keep in saprete bowl.
  2. In another bowl whisk butter till light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one by one.
  4. Add vanilla essence and milk.
  5. Now add maida in butter better in 3-4 portion..
  6. At last add all the nuts, Tutti fruity and mix well.
  7. Pour better in 8 inch square mould.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven at 180 degree.
  9. After cooling the cake cut it into 3-4 layers.
  10. Apply whipped cream in each layer.
  11. (For colour ganache decoration) melt 200 gram of white chocolate.
  12. Add purple colour in dairy cream.
  13. Heat it a little approx 4-5 minutes on slow flame.
  14. Add melted white chocolate.
  15. Colour Ganache is ready.
  16. Pour directly on cream cake.
  17. Cut the cake in square shape.
  18. Decorate Cherries on every piece.
  19. Cake pastries are ready to eat.
