Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For making Appe
  2. Dosa batter - 2 cups
  3. Oats - 1/2 cup
  4. Onion -2 finely chopped
  5. Tomato - 1 finely chopped
  6. Carrots grated - 4
  7. Coriander leaves - 2 tbspn
  8. Green chillies- 2 finely chopped
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil - 2 to 3 tspn
  11. Water - little
  12. For the dahi appe chat :-
  13. Curd - 1 cup
  14. Sugar - 2 tspn
  15. Tamarind chutney - 1 tbspn
  16. Green chutney - 1 tbspn
  17. Roasted jeera powder- 1/4 tspn
  18. Red chilly powder- 1/4 tspn
  19. Coriander leaves for garnish
  20. Sev - for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and mix in the batter all the ingredients for making appe
  2. Bring to required consistency
  3. Take appe pan and heat it
  4. Put a few drops of oil in each hole
  5. Pour 1 tbspn of batter in each...
  6. Cook covered....Then flip it carefully and cook again on the other side...Drizzle a few drops of oil on this side also
  7. Remove with the help of skewer stick given
  8. Now in a bowl whisk the curd.....Add sugar ,jeera powder and red chilly powder
  9. Pour this curd mixture over the appe
  10. Put the tamarind chutney and green chutney.... Here I didn't have the green chutney so skipped it.
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves and sev....
  12. Serve immediately
