Coconut sooji cake

Ingredients to make Coconut sooji cake

  • sooji - 1 cup
  • Normal sugar - 1 cup
  • Fresh curd - 1 cup
  • coconut powder 1 cup
  • baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • meetha soda 1/4 tsp
  • malai 1 tsp
  • salt a pinch
  • badam chpopped
  • walnuts few chopped
  • cashews few chopped

How to make Coconut sooji cake

  1. Mix together all the given ingredients.
  2. Grease the tin . Pour the mixture in it and decorate it with almonds and cashews.
  3. Bake it in pre heated oven at 180 degrees for one hour. Let it be cool for half an hour.
  4. Place it in a plate. Sprinkle some coconut powder . Serve .

My Tip:

You can bake it in a cooker ( do not put whistle on cooker lid ) also on low flame for one hour. It will be more delicious when baked in cooker by old method.
