Haldi Ka Doodh / Turmeric Latte / Hot Turmeric Milk / Golden Milk

Ingredients to make Haldi Ka Doodh / Turmeric Latte / Hot Turmeric Milk / Golden Milk

  • 220 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar or 3 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder or freshly grated turmeric root

How to make Haldi Ka Doodh / Turmeric Latte / Hot Turmeric Milk / Golden Milk

  1. In a pan pour in the milk and add the pepper and turmeric powder to it.
  2. Bring it to a boil and turn it down to simmer for two minutes. Turn off the heat and let the milk infused for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain and pour into a cup. Stir in the sugar or honey. Top with remaining pepper. Drink warm

you can even add a pinch of cinnamon instead of pepper n it's good to let turmeric steep in milk for around 15 -20 min. it's more beneficial.
