Ingredients to make Kai Norch (Plantain filled with sweet scrambled eggs)

  • Plantain - 4 to 5
  • Eggs - 5
  • Sugar - to taste
  • Homemade Ghee (desi ghee) - 3 tbsp
  • Plain flour
  • Water
  • Chopped nuts or milk masala powder

How to make Kai Norch (Plantain filled with sweet scrambled eggs)

  1. In a bowl mix egg with sugar and finely chopped nuts or milk masala powder.
  2. In a vessel add ghee, add egg mixture and mix it with full speed stirring constantly, with a wire whisk or spoon so as to make the scramble. Keep stirring and cook it well.
  3. When its cook completely. Remove from the flame and let it cool completely.
  4. Make thick paste of plain flour and water (which will work as a paste).
  5. Cut the plantain into halves and make a vertical cut into each halves (don't go till both the ends) and fill the sweet scrambled eggs and sealed with the all purpose flour paste completely.
  6. Likewise make rest of the kai norch.
  7. Heat oil in the kadhai and deep fry in 2-3 kai norch in each batch.

My Tip:

Note : Use only homemade or desi ghee. Its different from other shop bought ghee. U will find this at any indian grocery store easily.
