Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Urad dal 1 cup
  2. Curd 1/2 liter
  3. Salt
  4. Green chilly 2
  5. Grated carrot 1/2 cup
  6. Red chilly powder 2 tsp
  7. Cortiander leaves
  8. Kara boondhi 1 cup
  9. Jeera powder 2 tsp
  10. Chat masala 1 tsp
  11. Oil

Instructions

  1. First soak head dal for an hour and grind it as a thick batter
  2. Now take lemon size ball ,tap it using a polythene sheet and deep fry in oil .
  3. Cook till it turns light golden colour and remove from oil
  4. Now in a mixer add 1/4 cup of curd , 1 green chilly and coriander leaves add 1 glass water and blend it.
  5. Take this into a bowl and dip the fried vada in to this buttermilk ,leave it for a minute and transfer to a plate lightly squeezed.
  6. Now it's time to arrange curd vada
  7. Arrange vada in a plate or in a separate cups ,first add beaten curd on the vada
  8. Then sprinkle red chilly powder, jeera powder, finely chopped green chilly, grated carrot, karaboondhi and chopped coriander leaves and serve
