Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mushroom 200 gms
  2. Basmati rice 2 cups
  3. onion 2 sliced
  4. tomato 1
  5. green chillies 5
  6. whole garam masala 2 tablespoons
  7. Ginger 1 inch
  8. garlic pods 6
  9. fennel seeds 1 teaspoon
  10. mint leaves 2 fistful
  11. coriander leaves 1 fistful
  12. Salt 1 teaspoon
  13. turmeric powder half teaspoon
  14. Oul 2 tablespoons
  15. Ghee 1 tablespoon
  16. For raitha:- cucumber 1
  17. Onion 1
  18. Coriander leaves few
  19. Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  20. Raitha masala 1/2 teaspoon
  21. Boiled eggs 2
  22. Pepper powder a pinch

Instructions

  1. HEAT A PRESSURE COOKER AND ADD 2 TABLESPOONS OF OIL
  2. ADD WHOLE GARAM MASALA
  3. ADD SLICED ONIONS AND 5 GREEN CHILLIES
  4. ADD 2 BAY LEAVES
  5. STIR WELL
  6. ADD GINGER+GARLIC+FENNEL PASTE
  7. ADD 200GMS CHOPPED MUSHROOMS
  8. SAUTE WELL
  9. ADD 1 TEASPOON SALT
  10. ADD 1/2 TEASPOON TURMERIC POWDER
  11. MIX WELL AND ADD 1 CHOPPED TOMATO
  12. ADD MINT LEAVES
  13. ADD CURRY LEAVES
  14. SAUTE WELL
  15. COOK TILL TOMATOES TURN MUSHY
  16. ADD 3.5 CUPS WATER
  17. WASH AND SOAK 2 CUPS OF BASMATI RICE FOR 20-30 MINUTES
  18. DRAIN THE WATER
  19. WATER IS COMPLETELY DRAINED
  20. ONCE THE WATER STARTS BOILING ADD THE RICE
  21. ADD JUICE OF 1 LEMON
  22. MIX WELL
  23. ADD 1 TABLESPOON OF GHEE
  24. MIX WELL
  25. CLOSE THE LID AND PRESSURE COOK FOR 4-5 WHISTLES IN HIGH FLAME
  26. MEANWHILE CHOP 1 CUCUMBER,1 ONION AND FEW CORIANDER LEAVES FOR RAITHA
  27. ADD THEM TOGETHER IN A BOWL AND ADD SALT
  28. ADD RAITHA MASALA (OPTIONAL)
  29. MIX WELL AND REST IT FOR 5 MINUTES
  30. BOIL 2 EGGS
  31. NOW THE STEAM IS RELEASED NATURALLY AND PULAO IS READY.GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES
  32. MIX GENTLY WITHOUT BREAKING THE RICE
  33. I HAVE PACKED IT FOR TODAY'S LUNCH
  34. NOW ADD ADEQUATE CURD FOR RAITHA
  35. MIX WELL
  36. SPRINKLE PEPPER POWDER + SALT ON BOILED EGGS
  37. MUSHROOM PULAO,CUCUMBER RAITHA AND BOILED EGG IS READY AND PACKED FOR LUNCH
