Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Ginger 150 gms or 1 cup finely chopped
  2. Tamarind big lemon size
  3. Sesame oil 1/4 cup
  4. Mustard
  5. Green chillies 6
  6. Curry leaves
  7. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Rock Salt
  9. Jaggery 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. SOAK BIG LEMON SIZE TAMARIND
  2. CLEAN 150 GMS OF GINGER
  3. PEEL THE SKIN AND FINELY CHOP GINGER
  4. EXTRACT TAMARIND JUICE
  5. HEAT 1/4 CUP SESAME OIL
  6. ADD MUSTARD. ALLOW TO SPLUTTER
  7. ADD FINELY CHOPPED GINGER
  8. ADD FINELY CHOPPED 6 GREEN CHILLIES
  9. ADD CURRY LEAVES
  10. SAUTE
  11. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  12. SAUTE TILL RAW SMELL OF GINGER GOES OFF
  13. ADD TAMARIND EXTRACT
  14. ADD REQUIRED ROCK SALT
  15. MIX WELL. BOIL UNTILL THE VOLUME REDUCES TO HALF
  16. WHEN THE VOLUME REDUCES TO HALF, ADD 1 TBSP JAGGERY
  17. BOIL TILL OIL SEPARATES
  18. SERVE WITH CURD RICE
