Ingredients to make Dahi papdi chat

  • 25 -30 papdis
  • 2 cups boiled moong sprouts
  • 2 cups curd
  • 1 cup mint green chutney
  • 1 cup tamarind chutney
  • Barik seva 1 bowl
  • Finely chopped onion 1 bowl
  • Chat masala 3-4 tsp
  • Papdi Ingredients:
  • 1 cup suji
  • 1/2 cup maida
  • 3-4 tsp hot oil
  • Salt to taste

How to make Dahi papdi chat

  1. First take the maida, suji into a bowl, add salt, hot oil and mix it neatly. Then add warm water to make the dough and keep it aside for 1 hour.
  2. After this time, take the dough and make equal parts of the dough. Roll it and fry on a low flame then keep aside for cooling.
  3. To prepare the chutney, take 4-5 garlic cloves, 1 cup mint, 1 cup coriander, 3-4 tsp roasted daliya, 1/4 cup coconut, 1/4 cup curd, salt to taste, sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice.
  4. Grind these ingredients together, then add garlic cloves, mint, coriander, salt, coconut. Once again, grind it coarsely, then add the lemon juice, sugar, curds to grind and make a smooth in texture and spicy chutney.
  5. Take the curd and mix it with your hands to a smooth texture, then add the salt, sugar and mix it neatly. This is ready. To cook the moong sprouts, boil it with some salt.
  6. Take a plate, arrange the papadi all over the plate, then put some boiled moong on top, then the red spicy chutney, onions and tamarind chutney.
  7. At last pour the curd, barik seva and finally sprinkle the chat masala. This chatpati papdi chat is ready to be eaten!

My Tip:

Try and make the crispy papdi at home, don't use ready-made ones.
