Seviyan is eaten sweet but can be eaten salty also. These are sweet and salty seviyan. The tadka flavour gives it a good taste..

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Seviyan 1 cup
  2. Curd 2 cups
  3. For tadka 1 tbsp oil
  4. Curry leaves 6
  5. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  6. Jeera seeds 1/2 tsp
  7. Hing 2 pinch
  8. Red chilli dry 2
  9. Dry Urd dal 1 tsp chana dal 1 /2 tsp
  10. Cashews and nuts 1 tbsp
  11. Sugar 1 tsp
  12. Salt 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Roast seviyan in 1 tsp oil.If they are already roasted then skip this step.
  2. Boil 1 cup water and add seviyan boil them till soft and cover.They will absorb the water.
  3. Take fresh thick curd add seviyan and salt and sugar.
  4. Prepare tadka nicely in a hot oil by adding all ingredients till daals become brown.Pour over seviyan.
  5. Serve seviyan freshly made .
