About Shahi Paneer Recipe

In this recipe paneer is cooked in milk .

Shahi Paneer

Ingredients to make Shahi Paneer

  • 200 gm paneer
  • 2 - 3 tsp oil and 1 tsp butter
  • 2 onions
  • 3 tomatoes and 3- 4 tsp tomato puree
  • cinnamon STICK
  • 10 - 12 cashewnut
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp jeera
  • 1/4 tsp degi mirch
  • 2 tsp shahi paneer masala
  • 1/4 tsp kasoori methi powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • water as required
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

How to make Shahi Paneer

  1. Take oil in karahi. Add jeera.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté till translucent.
  3. Then add chopped tomatoes and sauté till tomatoes are cooked.
  4. Add cashewnuts and sauté for a minute. Cool it and make.
  5. Now put butter and add cinnamon stick and cook this for 5 minutes.
  6. Add all the spices except salt. Cook for a minute
  7. Add milk and water. Cook till gravy is thick. Now add salt and pieces of paneer. Garnish with coriander and cream.

My Tip:

Put salt in the end so that milk does not curdles.
