About Garlic Fried Rice Recipe

This instant to cook and flavourful dish is perfect for a dinner recipe that can easily be prepared in just 10 minutes.

Garlic Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Garlic Fried Rice

  • 3 tablespoon refined or olive oil
  • 3-4 garlic cloves sliced
  • A bowl of cooked/ left over rice
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 carrot finely chopped into tiny pieces
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 spring onion stalks finely chopped to garnish

How to make Garlic Fried Rice

  1. Heat a kadai/wok and add in the oil. Put in the garlic slices and fry till they turn into a light golden brown colour.
  2. Drain the garlic slices with a slotted spoon and keep aside.
  3. In the same kadai/wok, add in the chopped onion and carrot, cook this for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Add in the rice, soya sauce, salt, pepper together and stir fry on a high heat for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Switch off the heat and transfer the fried rice into a serving bowl.
  6. Garnish this dish with the fried garlic and spring onions and serve warm.
