ABOUT Khaman dhokla Idli RECIPE

This is a gujrathi dish thats popular all over india.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup gram flour
  2. 1 cup beaten yogurt
  3. 1 pinch cooking soda
  4. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  5. 1 green chilly chopped
  6. 5 curry leaves
  7. 1 tsp ginger - green chilly paste
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil

Instructions

  1. Take gram flour and add some salt, beaten yogurt with some water. Mix well to avoid lumps. Keep it aside for 2-3 hrs
  2. In a bowl take lemon juice and soda mix it well and add into the dhokla batter with green chilly and ginger paste . Whisk it properly.
  3. Grease idli pan and pour some batter. Steam it for 10 minutes and remove on a serving plate.
  4. Heat oil in a tadka pan add mustard seeds, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Pour this tadka on the idli dhokla. Serve hot with imli chutney.
