Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 300 gm Boiled potatoes
  2. 60 gm Chickpea flour
  3. 3 to 4 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaf
  4. 1tbsp oil
  5. 1/8tbsp carom seeds
  6. 1/4tbsp cumin seeds
  7. 1pinch asafoetida
  8. 1/4tbsp turmeric powder
  9. 1/2tbsp coriander powder
  10. 1to2 finelly chopped green chilli
  11. 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
  12. 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  13. 1pinch baking soda
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take chickpea flour I n a bowl add water in small portion and stir to make batter
  2. batter of pouring consistency is ready add salt +red chilli powder+turmeric powder+carom seeds+mix the all spices well
  3. add 1pinch baking soda to it mix well keep a side for 10 min.up to puff
  4. to make stuffing take boiled potatoes peel and crumble them meanwhile heat pan
  5. add oil to pan once hot add cumin seeds roast slightly keep flame low
  6. add asofoetida +turmeric powder+coriander powder+finally chopped green chilli and ginger paste
  7. 7add potatoes to it add red chilli powder+ salt keep flame medium mash and roast it for 2-3 min . Add some green coriander turn off the flame keep cool it
  8. grease hand with oil pick stuffing make ball keep it plate
  9. put appam pan to heat keep flame low pour 1 to 2 drop oil in it
  10. lift a ball coat with cheak pea flour batter put it in appan pan to cook to 4 to 5 min.cover it
  11. cook till brown then flip pour some oil over it.flip again till brown.cover to cook again on low flame 3 to 4 min.
  12. Ready to serve
