Seviyaan Kheer

Ingredients to make Seviyaan Kheer

  • 1 litre full cream Milk
  • 250 gms of vermicelli
  • 150 gms, gms dry fruits
  • Raisins cashews almonds blanched and cut small
  • 10 gms cardamom powder
  • 100 gms sugar (powdered)

How to make Seviyaan Kheer

  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan giving 2-3 boils to enhance creamy texture.
  2. Now add powdered sugar and stir well.
  3. Add vermicelli, cardamom powder, almonds and cashews (as they take time to be done).
  4. Boil and stir and check if both are soft.
  5. Now add raisins and boil for 5 minutes and put off stove cover. Let it settle for ten minutes.
  6. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Do not add too many dry fruits. Use slightly thick vermicelli only wheat or maida.
