ABOUT Onion Bajji RECIPE

Onion bajji easy to make ,a nice snack for evening tea with white chutney .

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 3 to 4 small onions sliced round
  2. 4 tbsp besan flour
  3. 2 tbsp idli or dosa batter
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1 /4 tesp baking soda
  6. 1/2 tesp chilli powder
  7. 1/4 tesp asafodita
  8. Oil to shallow fry
  9. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Mix besan flour,idli or dosa batter,salt, asafodita,chilli powder, and baking soda with water to idli batter consistency.
  2. Place pan with oil on medium heat.
  3. Dip onion slices one by one in the batter and slide it into the oil
  4. Cook on both sides till golden brown
  5. Remove serve hot with chutney.
