ABOUT Dahi kabab RECIPE

This is made up paneer and stuffing of hung curd and made in appe pan (paniyaram pan)

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer, mashed or grated...1 cup
  2. Mashed potato 1 small size
  3. Bread soaked and squeezed...2 or 3 pieces
  4. Hung curd..1/2 cup
  5. Dessicated coconut (coconut powder)...1 table spoon
  6. Oil as required
  7. Coriander leaves finely chopped...1 table spoon
  8. Green chillied 1 finely chopped
  9. Ginger paste of 1" ginger piece
  10. Salt and black pepper powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix hung curd and dessicated coconut powder and keep it aside
  2. In another bowl, mix all other items except oil and knead it nicely till a soft dough is formed and keep aside.
  3. Take a small ball of dough and flatten it on your palms and keep a small ball of hung curd.
  4. Close it with your hands and form a small ball
  5. Heat a nonstick pan, grease it with oil and keep these balls in all the discs. You can add more oil in these discs for crispier dahi kababs
  6. After few minutes, flip it and cook on other side also
  7. Take care at this stage because it cooks quickly, so keep an eye on it
  8. Enjoy dahi kababs with sadabahar tomato sauce or mint chutney
