Eggless Banana Walnut Loaf Cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Banana Walnut Loaf Cake

  • banana (ripe) 4
  • all purpose flour 2 cup
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 3/4 cup or (to taste)
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Soft unsalted butter or oil 1/2 cup
  • salt 1/8 tsp or pinch
  • Milk 1/2 cup (optional)
  • Vanilla extract or banana essence 1 tsp (optional)
  • walnut 1/3 cup chopped

How to make Eggless Banana Walnut Loaf Cake

  1. Preheat oven @ 375 f /190 C. Sieve all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt & mix properly. In another bowl, cream butter & sugar with hand mixer or electric beater. Then mash bananas with the help of fork.
  2. Add mashed Banana & vanilla extract or banana essence in creamed butter-sugar mixture & mix gently. Now slowly add wet ingredients (mashed banana, sugar, butter mixture) in the dry ones (all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder & salt).
  3. Add chopped walnuts in the cake batter. if the mixture is too thick then add milk. Grease loaf pan with butter or oil /sprinkle All purpose flour. Now pour cake mixture & bake till top crust become golden or toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Once baked, remove from oven and keep on a rack to cool down completely. Cut into slices & serve!
