Its a very tangy also yummy recipe. It goes well with roti, paratha, kulcha and nan.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Besan : 5 tbsp.
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Red chili powder : 1 tbsp.
  4. Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
  5. Kalonji : 1 pinch
  6. Dahi : 1 cup (200 ml)
  7. Maida : 1 tbsp.
  8. Green chili : 1
  9. Coriander leaves finely choped : 1/2 cup
  10. Panch phoran : 1 tsp
  11. Hing : 1 pinch
  12. Oil for frying and for gravy
  13. Ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp
  14. Garam masala : 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp. Of oil in a karai in low flame.
  2. In the mean while take 5 tbsp. Of besan, salt , pinch of kalonji, 1/2 tsp red chili powdwr and turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste in a bowl. With the help of water make a thin batter.
  3. Put this batter in the karai and with a help of a spatula make a soft dough. Then remove the dough from the karai in a plate previously grease with 1 tsp of refined oil.
  4. Spread the dough with hand. If it is very hot take the help of cold water to spread the dove over the plate grease with oil.
  5. Then with the help of knife cut it into small squares.
  6. Heat oil in a karai for deep frying. Fry this besan cubes till it become light golden in colour. Remove them from oil and keep them aside.
  7. In a bowl take water and drop of fried besan cubes in it. Leave them for 5 minutes and then remove the cubes by squeezing them lightly.
  8. In a bowl take the dahi , add 1 tbsp. Of maida and salt in it. Mix all the ingredients and keep it aside.
  9. Heat 3 tbsp. Of oil in a kadai and add panch phoran in it. Followed by green chili, 1/2 tsp of haldi powder and turmeric powder. Mix all the ingredients and add 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste in it.
  10. Fry till oil comes out from masala. Lower the flame and add the dahi mixture in it.
  11. Mix all the ingredients and cook till one boil comes.
  12. Then add chopped coriander leaves, 1 tsp of garam masala and the besan cubes. Season it with salt.
  13. Mix everything well and wait for one more boil.
  14. Switch of the flame and serve hot or cold.
