Gulkand Panna Cotta

Ingredients to make Gulkand Panna Cotta

  • 1 cup milk
  • 100 grams fresh cream
  • Half cup castor sugar    
  • 1 tsp paan masala (You can Get it from paan shop)
  • 2 tsp Gulkand
  • 1/2 agar agar powder
  • For garnishing - few strands of saffron, coloured saunf (fennel seeds), Coloured balls, gulkand and coloured dry coconut strands    
  • For flavour - 1 betel leaf (paan ka patta)

How to make Gulkand Panna Cotta

  1. Take a pan, add cream in it and wait for a boil. Then add milk. Now take agar agar powder and mix it in sugar and add it in the cream milk.
  2. In the mean time take the betel leaf, paan masala, gulkand and grind them.
  3. Now, add this in boiling milk and cream. Turn off the flame when the mixture starts turning little thick.
  4. Let it cool for few minutes. Take the moulds.
  5. Grease them with little oil and pour the mix into it and refrigerate it for 4 to 5  hours.
  6. After it sets down. Start un-moulding it and garnish it with things referred above.
