I make curd dhokla means khatta dhokla and serve with plum sauce and mango

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup idli batter
  2. Half cup curd
  3. salt as per taste
  4. half teaspoon baking soda
  5. 1 teaspoon fruit salt
  6. For tadka---
  7. one teaspoon oil
  8. 6 curry leaves
  9. one teaspoon mustard seeds
  10. 1 teaspoon yellow mustard seeds
  11. one teaspoon sesame seeds
  12. 1 chopped mango
  13. for plum sauce---
  14. one chopped plum
  15. half chopped green apple
  16. salt as per taste
  17. 1 tablespoon sugar
  18. 1 teaspoon black salt
  19. half teaspoon pepper powder
  20. Half teaspoon jeera powder

Instructions

  1. add curd in idli batter
  2. mix finely
  3. add baking soda and fruit salt
  4. cook in steamer for 15 minutes
  5. make Tadka by adding all ingredients
  6. keep separate
  7. for plum sauce---
  8. Add plum and apple in a pan
  9. add sugar
  10. cook them till soft
  11. when they became soft keep aside
  12. when it cool down make paste in mixie
  13. add all given spices
  14. when Dhokla cooks cut in desired shape
  15. Spread plum sauce upon them
  16. top with mango pieces
  17. temper them with prepared Tadka
  18. garnish with coriander leaves
  19. Servo hot these yummy dhoklad
