About Nutritious Bars (Eggless) Recipe

Healthy, yummy and full of nuts and protein. These bars are perfect Lunch box recipe which you can give to your kid to build the immunity of your child...one piece of this bar is full of calorie and delicious flavorful ingredients, it contains pumpkin, Almonds, and the base is made with very healthy oats.

Nutritious Bars (Eggless)

Ingredients to make Nutritious Bars (Eggless)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup APF (all purpose flour)
  • 1/2 cup condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup hung curd
  • 250 gm pumpkin, grated, without skin
  • 1/2 cup almonds, sliced
  • salt to taste
  • cinnamon powder pinch
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

How to make Nutritious Bars (Eggless)

  1. 1. Take a bowl and add brown sugar, butter and rolled oats and APF and mix it well.
  2. 2. Now, Take a square baking pan, grease some oil in it and spread this mixture all over the pan. Tap this mixture with your figures very well in the pan. and this will be our base for this nutritious bars.
  3. 3. Now bake this mixture on 180 degree C for 15 minutes or until it turned brown.
  4. 4. Take another bowl, add condense milk and grated pumpkin and mix this well. Now add salt, cinnamon powder, hung curd, sliced almonds, Vanilla Essence, baking powder mix all these ingredients well.
  5. 5. Now, pour this mixture on our baked base and again let it bake for another 20 minutes at 180 degree C.
  6. 6. After baking, let it cool for few minutes, demould it and cut the pieces and serve it. You can store and refrigerate this in an airtight container for a week.
  7. Fill your kid's Tiffin with this delicious and healthy nutritious bars, some fruits and juice. Stay healthy :)

My Tip:

You can use Carrots or apple too instead of pumpkin, Pumpkin is a good source of Iron too, So to enhance the Iron level, You can make this nutritious bars with pumpkin.
