Whole Wheat No Yeast Pizza

Ingredients to make Whole Wheat No Yeast Pizza

  • 2 cups(300 grams) Whole wheat flour/Atta
  • 1 tablespoon Oil and for greasing
  • 200 grams Curd(around 1 cup)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Oregano and Chilli flakes(as required)
  • Pizza sauce
  • Veggies - Bell Peppers, Tomatoes, Corn, etc.
  • Mozarella cheese

How to make Whole Wheat No Yeast Pizza

  1. Beat sugar and curd together nicely.
  2. Preheat oven to 150C. Prepare a pizza tray by nicely greasing it with some oil and sprinkle some flour too.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a kneading plate/bowl.
  4. Start adding curd to the flour. You have to make a smooth(not very sticky) dough using curd only. Do not add any water. Add 1 tablespoon oil too.
  5. Knead the dough for 5 minutes more and keep it in a greased bowl for 10 minutes.
  6. Take out 1/4 part of the dough and roll it in a circle using a rolling pin. The thickness depends totally on your requirement.
  7. Bake the prepared base on a nicely greased and dusted oven safe tray for 5 minutes.
  8. After 5 minutes, carefully turn the base upside down and apply pizza sauce and put all the toppings on it. Bake at 150C for 7-10 minutes more or until it is done.
  9. Enjoy it hot with some cold drink!

My Tip:

I suggest not to make the pizza base very thick as this dough is not yeast based. It will not be as fluffy as a yeast based pizza. Also the amount of curd used totally depends on it's consistency.

Tried it lived ot..just that it dint became crisp frm bottom..please suggest should i keep pizza on top ,middle or bottom rack
