ABOUT Shrewsbury Cookies (eggless) RECIPE

Its crunchy tasty and just melts in mouth.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups Maida /All purpose flour
  2. 1 1/2 cups vanaspathi / Margarine
  3. 1 cup powdered sugar
  4. 1 tsp Cardamon powder
  5. 10 cashew's powdered coarsely
  6. Raisins & Tuttifruti

Instructions

  1. Cream Vanaspathi & Sugar until light n fluffy by whisk / hand blender.
  2. Add the flour in small batches and mix well.
  3. Don't over knead it.
  4. Wrap the dough in a cling film & put it in the fridge for an hour.
  5. Make the cookies of your desired shape / flatten the dough on a even & floured surface n cut it with cookie cutter.
  6. Pre heat the oven at 180.c for 10 minutes.
  7. Line the baking tray with parchment paper / grease the baking tray & Arrange the shaped cookies.
  8. Bake it at 150.c for 20_25 minutes or until light golden in colour.
  9. Just keep an eye after 20 minutes.
  10. The hot cookies will be soft ,once it cool they will be crunchy.
