Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 cups finely chopped cabbage (sliced)
  2. 3/4 cup Gram flour (Besan)
  3. 1/2 cup Thalipeeth Bhajani
  4. 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  5. 2 tsp Red Chili powder
  6. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  7. 1 tbsp tamarind/imli chutney
  8. 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  9. 1-2 tbsp coarsely ground peanuts
  10. 1 tsp green chili paste (if desired)
  11. 1/4 tsp baking powder
  12. 2 tsp oil
  13. 1/2 cup water (approximately)
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 Deg F (200deg C).
  2. Mix all the above ingredients to make thick batter. Marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Grease a cake tin with oil an spread batter evenly. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
  4. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes or till tooth pick comes out clean. Remove from oven and transfer to a rack. Cool and cut in desired shapes.
  5. Heat nonstick pan with oil. Shallow fry both sides till light golden brown.
