ABOUT MANGO CUSTARD RECIPE

Summer brings lots of heat and yummy mangoes !!!!! Custard is the dessert of choice in parties and marriages . It is very refreshing and is packed with the goodness of milk which has calcium and protein . A very delicious dessert made by thickening milk with custard powder along with sugar .

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Full cream milk - 1 litre
  2. Custard powder - 4 tablespoons
  3. Sugar - 4 tablespoons
  4. Mango pulp - 1 cup
  5. Mango sliced - 4 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Put milk to boil in a thick bottom pan .
  2. Take the custard powder in a bowl .
  3. Add 4 tablespoons milk and mix well .
  4. Stir and mix the custard powder well till all the lumps are gone .
  5. When the milk starts boiling , reduce the heat and pour the prepare custard powder mix . Stir the milk continuously to prevent custard mixture from sticking at the bottom of the pan .
  6. After 2 - 4 minutes the milk will start to thicken . Keep on stirring continuously .
  7. Add sugar yo the thickened milk and mix well .
  8. Let the custard cook on medium heat for 5 minutes . Stirring continuously and switch off the flame .
  9. Once the custard is cooled to room temperature add mango pulp and blend it with a hand blender so that it becomes smooth and even .
  10. Now pour the custard in a mould and set the refrigerator for about 3 hours .
  11. Now garnish the mango sauce and serve chilled .
