ABOUT Mango Semifreddo RECIPE

Semifreddo is a class of semi frozen desserts, principal ingredients are usually egg, sugar and cream. Here, I have made my vegeterian version with the twist of mango. Enjoy mango semifreddo before the season of mango ends!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Hung curd 1cup
  2. Whipping cream 1cup
  3. Mango pulp 1cup
  4. Sugar 4tbsp
  5. Mango chopped pieces 1/2cup
  6. Raisins 1tbsp
  7. Cashew crushed 1tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1) Take whipping cream and beat with sugar till peaks form
  2. 2) Take hung curd and mix mango pulp, raisins, crushed cashews.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream in the curd along with chopped mango pieces.
  4. Line a mould with cling film with overhangs of the cling film on both sides. It becomes easier to take out from the mould by holding the overhangs
  5. Pour the mixture into the moulds and refrigerate for at least 2hours or overnight
  6. For serving, Demould it by holding the edges of the cling film and remove it. Garnish with mangoes and nuts of your choice
