Raw mango burfi

Ingredients to make Raw mango burfi

  • grated Raw mango pulp-1 cup
  • mawa-1/2 cup
  • suger-1/2 cup
  • Alum(phitkari)-a small piece
  • cardamon powder-1tsp
  • some chopped almond and cashew

How to make Raw mango burfi

  1. wash and peel the raw mangoes. grate the mangoes with the grater. soak this pulp in water with a small piece of Alum for one hour.
  2. After one hour wash the pulp under the running water till all sourness gone.
  3. put a pan on gas. combine the mava and suger in pan. mix well. stirring continuously on medium flame.
  4. Add the mango pulp. mix well and cook till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan completely.stir continuously for 10 minutes. add cardamon powder and chopped nuts. stir well and off the flame.
  5. keep aside to cool for 2 minutes . transfer the mixture into a greased plate. Allow to set for 2-3 hour and cut into equal squares and serve. you can store in air tight container.
