Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. All purpose flour 2 cups +1/4cup for dusting
  2. Oil 3 tablespoon
  3. Ghee 1/4 cup
  4. Cold water 1/2cup
  5. Oil to fry as required

Instructions

  1. Seive 2 cups all purpose flour
  2. Add 2 tablespoon oil, rub well till crumbly like This
  3. Add 1/2 cup cold water little by little, Knead into a soft dough
  4. Cover and rest the dough for 30 minutes
  5. Divide the dough into equal parts, make Small balls
  6. Roll out big rotis.
  7. Spread 1 teaspoon ghee
  8. Add 1 teaspoon flour on top
  9. Cut a slit from the centre like this
  10. Take the corner, roll it into a conical Shape
  11. Tuck the loose ends in like this
  12. Cut from the bottom
  13. Dip into oil, set aside
  14. Cover all the ready cones with a damp Cotton cloth, set aside to rest for 30 minutes
  15. Take 1 cone, press it down gently
  16. Roll it into a roti
  17. Deep fry in hot oil on medium heat, pour Some oil in the centre till it puffs up
  18. Flip and fry, pouring oil on both sides
  19. Take off heat when golden brown and crisp Like this
  20. Place on a tissue paper so that the excess Oil is absorbed
  21. Serve hot with chole and curd
