About Potato bhijiya Recipe

During rainy season everybody wants to eat bhajiyas.

Potato bhijiya

Ingredients to make Potato bhijiya

  • potato 2
  • gram flour 1 cup
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • asafoetida 1 pinch
  • baking soda 1 pinch
  • oil for frying.

How to make Potato bhijiya

  1. Peel the potato and cut into thin round shape.
  2. In a bowl put gramflour, baking soda, salt, turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder and asafoetida .
  3. Now add little water slowly and make batter without any lumps.
  4. Heat oil in a wok and dip potato slices into the batter
  5. Drop them into midium hot oil and fry till golden brown colour and crisp.
  6. Serve hot with sause or chutney.
