About Nankhatai Recipe

This is simple traditional cookies...very easy to make.

Nankhatai

Ingredients to make Nankhatai

  • 1 cup maida
  • 1/2 cup besan
  • 1/4 cup semolina
  • 3/4 Cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cooking soda
  • 3/4 -1 cup melted ghee
  • cardamom powder
  • Finely chopped nuts of your choice

How to make Nankhatai

  1. In a bowl mix all the ingredients & mix well.
  2. Don't over knead it.
  3. Store the dough in fridge for minimum 1/2 hour.
  4. Pre heat the oven to 150 C.
  5. Grease the tray and keep ready.
  6. Make a small lemon size ball and just press a little between your palm.
  7. Arrange it in baking tray. Sprinkle some finely chopped nuts over it.
  8. Bake it in the pre- heated oven for 15_ 20 minutes at 150C.
