Soya Chaap Masala

Ingredients to make Soya Chaap Masala

  • 500 gm soya chaap
  • 3-4 chopped onions
  • 4 Chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup soya granules
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp jeera
  • 1 tejpatha, 1 dalchini stick
  • 2 tsp soya chaap masala
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp lal mirch powder
  • 1/2 tsp kasoori methi powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • Water as required
  • FOR GARNISH:
  • Chopped Coriander
  • Grated paneer
  • Cream(optional)

How to make Soya Chaap Masala

  1. Take oil in a karahi, add chopped onions saut :copyright: till translucent. Now add chopped tomatoes. Cook for 5-6 minutes on low flame till tomatoes are cooked.
  2. Cool it and make a puree of it.
  3. Boil soya chaap for 10 minutes and drain and keep aside. Cut it into pieces.
  4. Take oil in same karahi add jeera, tejpatha, dalchini stick. Saut :copyright: till it crackles.
  5. Add the soya granules. Cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame.
  6. Add soya chaap masala, lalmirch powder, kasoori methi powder and cook for few minutes.
  7. Add soya chaap and cook with masala for few minutes.
  8. Add milk and water. After one boil put it on low flame till cooked.
  9. Add salt and garam masala. Cook for 2 minutes.
  10. Garnish with chopped coriander, cream and grated paneer.
My Tip: Put salt in the end so that milk does not curdle.
