ABOUT Steamed Chana Daal Phare RECIPE

Wheat bread stuffed with spicy chana daal mixture.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chanaa Daal 200 gm
  2. Wheat dough 250 gm
  3. Ginger 1 tsp
  4. garlic 2-3 cloves
  5. Chilli 1 tsp
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Rai 1 tsp
  8. curry leaves 7-8
  9. oil as required

Instructions

  1. Soak chanaa daal for 5 hours.
  2. Then grind the chana daal along with ginger, garlic and chilly.
  3. Make small ball of wheat dough fill it with daal mixture and steam for 15 minutes.
  4. Add oil in a pan, add rai and curry leaves and spread over the phares.
