Eggless Chocolate cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Chocolate cake

  • Milkmaid-200gms
  • butter - 60gms
  • flour - 120gms
  • Baking powder - 1 1/2tsp
  • Soda -1/2tsp
  • Chocolate essence - 1/2tsp
  • curd- 1/4cup
  • Wate r-1/4cup
  • Cocoa powder - 1tbsp
  • Ing for chocolate mousse:-
  • Milk chocolate - 150gms
  • cream - 50gms
  • Whipped cream -1 1/2cup
  • Ing for chocolate glaze:-
  • Dark chocolate-100gms
  • cream - 30gms
  • butter - 1tbsp

How to make Eggless Chocolate cake

  1. Method:- For chocolate cake:- Beat butter and milkmaid in bowl. Add essence and beat well. Mix in the curd little at a time and beat. Sieve flour with baking powder and soda. Mix flour along with remaining curd and water. Beat for a 1minute and pour into the mould and bake at 180°C for 1/2hr.
  2. For Choocolate Mousse:- Chop the chocolates into small pieces. Pour the cream in a pan and heat it till the cream in side starts to boil. Now pour this cream on chocolate and keep aside for a minute.
  3. After a min mix it with spatula. If some chocolate is left means micromave for 10-20 secs. When the ganache get cools fold it in whipped cream.
  4. For chocolate glaze:- Chop the chocolates into small pieces. Pour the cream in a pan and heat it till the cream in side starts to boil.Now pour this cream on chocolate and keep aside for a min and then add butter to it.
  5. After a minute, mix it with spatula. If some chocolate are left , micromave for 10-20 secs. Fill and frost the cake with mousse .Keep this cake in fridge for 1 hour.
  6. Then pour the cooled glaze on cake and decorate it with chocolate garnishes or with whipped cream.
