Herbed Crust Wheat Buns

Ingredients to make Herbed Crust Wheat Buns

  • 3 cups wheat flour (Aata)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup to 1.25 cups of warm water
  • 1 tbsp active yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Parsley to sprinkle on top of the bun

How to make Herbed Crust Wheat Buns

  1. In a bowl take warm water active yeast and sugar. Mix well to dissolve the sugar. Keep it aside for 10 mins.
  2. Mix wheat flour salt thyme and oil in another bowl...
  3. Now add the yeast sugar water mixture in the flour mixture, and do knead it in a smooth dough. Kneading will take approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Now keep the dough aside at a warm place for 1 hour 20 mins in a greased plate, it will rise a little.
  5. After that take the dough, knead it again, make small bun shape spheres and then sprinkle dry parsley on it and press it lightly on dough.
  6. Your dough is ready. Now put it on a greased tray or borosil container.
  7. Microwave it on high power for 4 mins 30 secs.

My Tip:

Remember, every microwave has a different temperature settings, so it might get ready in 4 mins or can take 6 mins too,know your microwave.
