Ingredients to make Mango Sunrise balls

  • 6 Pieces Bread Slice
  • 1 cup grated paneer
  • 1 cup chopped mango
  • 2 cups sugar( for syrup)
  • 2 tablespoon sugar (for mango filling)
  • 2 Tablespoon cornflour
  • 1 Cup water

How to make Mango Sunrise balls

  1. FOR FILLING Take a pan, pour 1 cup mango and 2 tablespoon sugar to it. let it cook till the sugar gets blended in the mango, let the mango cook for 3 minutes. Keep it aside to cool.
  2. FOR SUGAR SYRUP(Chashni) Boil 1 cup water in a sauce pan and pour 2 cups sugar to it. Let the syrup cook for 7 minutes.(Chashni)
  3. Method: Take 2 Bread slices and scrap away the ends of it, so that we are left with the white part.
  4. Dip both the slices in water for 2 seconds and press them between your palms to rinse the excess water. Keep them together on a plastic sheet and press to increase the size.
  5. Put grated paneer on the bread and then put the mango filling on the paneer. Pick the plastic sheet from all the sides and make a ball.
  6. Now once you get your desired shape, remove the plastic sheet and dip the balls in cornflour and deep fry them.
  7. Let the balls turn dark brown, take them out and immediately put them in a sugar syrup.
  8. Let them soak in the syrup , till the outer covering softens.
  9. Take them out, and cut them in two halves. Your mango sunrise balls are ready to be served. Serve them cool or hot.
