Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida - 200g
  2. Salt pepper
  3. Chilled butter -100g
  4. Chilled water
  5. For stuffing
  6. Boiled potatoes
  7. Carrot chopped
  8. Beans chopped
  9. Salt
  10. Nutmeg powder
  11. Bread crumps
  12. pepper
  13. Grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add maida and chilled butter and mix it well with your fingers. Add salt pepper and add chilled water and make a soft dough. Keep it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  2. For stuffing - In a bowl add boiled potatoes and mash it.
  3. Add carrot beans, salt pepper, nutmeg powder and mix it well. Add grated cheese and mix it well, add bread crumbs. The batter should be dry.
  4. Now roll the dough with the help of rolling pin to rectangle shape. Sheet should be thick
  5. Add potato mixture in the middle of sheet leaving more space at one end for crocodile face, using a knife, cut the dough into strips.
  6. Five or six strips are fine on both side, fold 1 strip over the filling and do the same on the other side, the filling is encased in pastry sheet.
  7. Now shape the crocodile head, fold into triangle, cut the excess dough and press down to flatten and let the filling come out so that it fills the head fold over to cover the filling and form a triangle.
  8. cut off the tip of the head and shape into square Then roll the piece of dough into two small balls for the eyes
  9. For tail Cut the dough into round and make a tail, cut out four squares for the remaining dough, cut first into trapezoids and cut off small triangle to resemble the crocodile claws and make four feets
  10. Now transfer the crocodile loaf into baking tray arranged the feet and brush the pastry with the beaten butter
  11. Snip the dough with the tips of a pair of scissor to create crocodile skin Bake crocodile for about 45 min at 200 C
