It's a self adapted recipe. It's healthy and tasty too .

Sabudana (sago ) kheer

Ingredients to make Sabudana (sago ) kheer

  • 1/2 cup - sabudana
  • 1cup - water
  • 1 litre - milk
  • 4-5 tbsp- sugar
  • 3-4- crushed green cardamom
  • 9-10- almonds chopped
  • few strands of kesar

How to make Sabudana (sago ) kheer

  1. Wash and soak sabudana for 1 1 and 1/2 hours. It will become soft and will double up. Strain water if itthere .
  2. Heat milk in a pan and add cardamom, Kesar and sugar to it. Stir.
  3. Once it comes to a boil, reduce the flame and add sabudana.
  4. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Keep stirring.
  5. Add almonds and cook till you get desired consistency .
  6. Serve hot in winters and chilled in summers.
