Eggless Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients to make Eggless Chocolate Muffins

  • Maida 1 1/2 cup
  • Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Granulated sugar 3/4 cup
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt a pinch
  • Vanilla extract 1 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder 1 tbsp
  • Choco chips 1/2 cup

How to make Eggless Chocolate Muffins

  1. Mix sugar, yogurt, oil till sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Sieve Maida, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, salt thrice to incorporate air in it.
  3. Add the dry ingredients into wet ingredients, do not over beat, just mix it well.
  4. Preheat a big kadahi/wok on a high flame with perforated plate in it for 10 minutes.
  5. Shift this cake batter into aluminium / tin moulds which is greased with oil earlier and dust it with maida.
  6. Add choco chips and place the moulds in the kadahi and on the perforated plate and cover with a lid.
  7. Keep this on a high flame for 15 minutes then lower down the flame.
  8. Bake for another 30 - 35 minutes till done, check by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean your cake is ready.
  9. After baking is done, shift the kadahi on a cooling rack for half an hour. Let the lid remain, do not open and let the water droplets appear on the lid.
  10. Take out your moulds from the kadahi and demould after it cools down.
  11. Pour melted chocolate over it before serving.

My Tip:

While baking cake in kadahi put lid on it till baking is done never open in between
