Vanilla Cake

Ingredients to make Vanilla Cake

  • 2 1/2 cup maida/Flour
  • 1 tin milkmaid
  • 1/2 cup oil, slightly more
  • milk 1/2 cup or more to adjust consistency
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Few drops for Vanilla essence

How to make Vanilla Cake

  1. Take pan to it add oil and full milkmaid tin. Keep it on gas at low flame cook for 3-4 minutes. Keep on stirring constantly.
  2. Cool it to lukewarm.
  3. Sieve maida, baking powder and soda twice.
  4. Add it to the milkmaid mix followed by vanilla essence. Adjust milk to get a ribbon consistency.
  5. Grease baking tin, dust some maida. Pour the batter in it.
  6. Bake at 200 degree centigrade for 35-40 minutes. Check with a toothpick and then serve warm.

My Tip:

Don't beat the batter just fold it.

Do you bake in glass or metal in convection mode pls.. just give step by step use of convection mode. I have microwave but don't know these uses...
