Ingredients to make Aamras (Mango Juice)

  • 1 cup - 250 gms
  • Alphonso Mangoes 400 gms - 2 large
  • Cardamom Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron strands a pinch
  • Sugar/ jaggery (Optional)
  • Dry ginger powder 1/4 tsp
  • Water or milk as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Mint twigs

How to make Aamras (Mango Juice)

  1. Wash Alphonso mangoes, chop them, blend after adding cardamom powder, salt, saffron strands and a little milk. Churn it well.
  2. Pour into a chilled bowl. Garnish with dry fruits or by mint twig
  3. Serve with pooris or parathas.

My Tip:

Do not add too much of milk.
