Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 6 slice white bread
  2. 1/2 cup Milk
  3. Oil for frying
  4. 2 tsp milk powder
  5. 1 tsp elaichi powder
  6. 1/2 cup Sugar
  7. 1/2 cup water
  8. Pinc of baking soda

Instructions

  1. Take sugar in a container, add water and heat it until sugar dissolves completely. When syrup starts turning sticky, switch off the flame.
  2. Cut the edges of bread slices and set aside. Now crush the slices add cardamom powder pinch of baking soda and some milk to knead the dough of bread slices or you can grind them also.
  3. Make small balls from dough and roll smoothly then heat oil in a pan add few balls and fry on low flame till golden brown.
  4. Drain the balls on a tissue and immediately add jamun into warm sugar syrup.
  5. Cover and let it rest for two three hours for jamun to absorb syrup. Serve it warm.
