Sprouts egg ommelate

Ingredients to make Sprouts egg ommelate

  • Onions - 1 medium size
  • Green chillies - 1 to 2 as per taste
  • Tomato - 1 medium size
  • Finely chopped ginger - 1 tea spoon
  • Finely chopped garlic - 1 tea spoon
  • Egg - 2 nos
  • Mixed sprouts - 2 table spoons
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying
  • Pepper for seasoning

How to make Sprouts egg ommelate

  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl and keep aside.
  2. Chop the onions, chillies and tomato finely and add it to the beaten eggs and mix well
  3. Add the finely chopped ginger and garlic to the mixture and mix well.
  4. Finally add the sprouts and required salt to the mixture and mix well.
  5. Heat tawa and 1 table spoon of oil.
  6. Pour the egg mixture and allow it to cook for 3 mins. Then turn it slowly and cook the other side and transfer it to serving bowl. Season it with pepper powder.
  7. Enjoy it with a warm glass of milk.
My Tip: For added flavour, add some chopped coriander.
