ABOUT Mango Rasaayana RECIPE

Rasaayana is a dessert made using mango, coconut milk, and jaggery.  It is unique to the state of Karnataka, India.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 Ripe Mango
  2. 2 cups Jaggery
  3. 2 tbsp Sugar
  4. 2 cups coconut milk
  5. 1 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. Peel the mangoes, ensuring no skin is left on them.
  2. Cut the mangoes into cubes and shred them into fine pieces. Discard the seeds.
  3. In a big bowl, add the shredded mangoes, jaggery, coconut milk, salt and cardamom powder and mix.
  4. Serve instantly.
