ABOUT Corn Chowder RECIPE

A thick and creamy hearty comfort dish which is so easy to make and taste amazing

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 4 1/2 cup Corn
  2. 6 cups Vegetable stock
  3. 2 cups Cream (heavy)
  4. 1/4 cup Flour
  5. 1 Onion chopped
  6. 2 Garlic cloves minced
  7. 2 tbsp Butter
  8. 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  9. Salt and pepper to taste
  10. A few Parsley leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive in a pot, add onion, garlic and stir fry until onions become soft.
  2. Add the flour and coat evenly. Pour int the vegetable stock and bring it to boil.
  3. Stir in the cream and bring to boil.
  4. Now add the corn, season with salt and pepper and cook for 10 mins until corn is cooked.
  5. Using a masher or fork, mash the corn and cook for another 2-3 mins.
  6. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl, top with corn and parsley.
  7. Serve hot!
