Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Maida 2 cups
  2. Ghee for moyan about 2 table spoon
  3. Cloves 2 for each
  4. Sugar 3 cups
  5. Water 1and 1/2 cup (little more)
  6. Sweet khoya 1 and 1/2 cup (In case of unsecured khoya for 1 cup khoya about 3/4 cup sugar 1 table spoon milk)
  7. 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  8. Oil or Ghee for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. TAKE MAIDA (ALL PURPOSE FLOUR) ADD GHEE AS MOYAN
  2. ADD WATER KNEAD AND MAKE THE DOUGH
  3. MAKE THE SUGAR SYRUP WITH ALMOST 2:1 RATIO OF SUGAR AND WATER.
  4. I ADD SUGAR FIRST IN HOT CONTAINER SO GET THIS COLOUR.
  5. TAKE SWEET KHOYA OR MIX SUGAR TO UNSWEETENED KHOYA AND MAKE THE STUFFING. ADD CARDAMOM POWDER TO THE KHOYA
  6. HEAT OIL OR GHEE
  7. NOW TAKE SMALL PORTION OF THE DOUGH MAKE A SMALL PURI WITH ROLLING PIN
  8. PLACE SOME KHOYA STUFFING IN MIDDLE
  9. WRAP IT ALL 4 SIDES
  10. LOCK IT WITH CLOVES
  11. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL OR GHEE ON LOW FLAME
  12. FRY SLOWLY BOTH SIDES
  13. FRY - UNTIL BROWNISH IN COLOUR
  14. DRAIN EXCESS OIL
  15. DEEP IN HOT SUGAR SYRUP
  16. LET IT ABSORB THE SYRUP AND GET COOL
