ABOUT Coconut Chiwda RECIPE

Normally chiwda is made of rice. I wanted to make something different. By meticulously cutting coconut flesh in the shape of Chiwda and subsequently processing in sugar syrup, This innovative item was made out of just 3 ingredients . It tastes amazing and worth of taking pain in preparation. Keep in airtight container for long time.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Coconut 1 nos ( big in size) or 1 1/2 cups
  2. Sugar 1 1/4 cup
  3. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Make the coconut pieces.
  2. Cut the pieces like Chiwda shape.
  3. Put coconut Chiwda in hot water for 5 minutes. Milk and oil of coconut's should goes out of it.
  4. Wash the Chiwda by normal water and keep in strainer.
  5. Heat sugar with little water and cardamom powder. Make it thick syrup. Add washed Chiwda and cook it till dry. Heat should be medium.
  6. Sweet coconut Chiwda is ready.
