ABOUT Oats Ladoo RECIPE

An Indian sweet dish with a healthy base. These ladoos are made from oats and is full of fibre.. a healthy treat for kids!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oats-100gm
  2. Groundnut-100gm
  3. Roasted and coarsely ground sesame seeds-50gm
  4. Jaggery-100gm
  5. Ghee-1tbsp
  6. Dessicated coconut for coating

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a kadai, add oats and roast until brown. Remove from heat and keep aside
  2. Heat jaggery in a pan with 1 tbsp of water, mix well.
  3. Add the roasted oats, groundnuts and sesame seeds in it and mix well .
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool down a bit.
  5. While it is still warm, use your hands to shape the ladoos.
  6. Roll the ladoos in dessicated coconut and serve.
