Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For pol roti
  2. Rice flour 1 cup
  3. Coconut grated 3/4 cup
  4. Salt
  5. Ghee to roast 3 tsp
  6. Chilli flakes 1 tsp
  7. Water to knead the dough
  8. For pol sambol
  9. Tomatoes finely chopped 1 cup
  10. Coconut grated 1/2 cup
  11. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  12. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Ghee 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Let's start with pol sambol...Grind all the ingredients ---tomatoes,coconut,curry leaves,red chilli powder,lemon juice to fine paste...Finally add salt and ghee and grind once again...Pol sambol is ready..
  2. Now let's make pol roti .Take rice flour in a bowl,add salt,red chilli flakes,coconut grated,ghee and form a crumble texture
  3. Now add little water and form a soft dough..Let it rest for 15 min..Make small chapatis by pressing it between butter paper or plastic sheet..Roast the roti with ghee on both the sides..
  4. Serve hot pol roti with pol sambol
